What to Bring
A valid passport. Expiration date must be no earlier than 6 months after your planned return. A customs declaration form must be completed at the port of entry.
Packing for life aboard a sailboat is simple, light, and relaxed — think comfort, layers, and ease. Here’s what we recommend:
Clothing & Layers
Light, breathable outfits for warm days.
A cozy sweater or fleece for cool evenings
A hat for cooler nights if you get cold
Windbreaker or light rain jacket
Swimsuit(s) & cover-up
Comfortable footwear for hikes, shore walks or dinners
Something light and casual for going out to dinner ashore
Essentials
Reef-safe sunscreen
Sunglasses (with a strap if possible)
Sunhat or cap
Toiletries (eco-friendly if possible — we’re mindful of marine life)
Any medications you need
Reusable water bottle
Footwear Onboard
We go barefoot on the boat most of the time — it’s part of the relaxed rhythm of life at sea.
If you’d prefer to wear shoes onboard, please bring a clean pair reserved just for the boat (non-marking soles only).
Optional Comforts
Earplugs (boats can have gentle creaks and sea sounds)
Small dry bag for shore trips
Lightweight daypack or tote bag
Charging cables for your devices
Keep It Simple
Cabin space is limited, so we recommend a soft-sided bag or duffel instead of a hard suitcase. You’ll be barefoot much of the time and living close to nature — pack light and with ease.
And most importantly — don’t forget to bring your smile and a positive attitude!
This retreat is all about relaxing, having fun, and embracing new experiences together.
